Follow the steps below to properly configure and connect Google Search Console to Aegisify SEO.
Step 1: Create Your Google Search Console Property

Click Start Now and create a new property.

You can click the “?” icon (top right corner) for guided help on property setup.

Choose either:

Domain Property (recommended), or
-
URL Prefix
-

After your property is created:

Navigate to Sitemaps inside GSC.

Copy your XML sitemap URLs from:
Aegisify SEO → SiteMap Tab -
Submit your XML sitemap(s) inside Google Search Console.

Step 2: Create OAuth Client in Google Cloud Console

Create a new OAuth 2.0 Client ID.

Configure the following:
Authorized JavaScript Origins
https://www.yourdomain.com
Authorized Redirect URI

Once created:
-
Copy the Client ID
-
Copy the Client Secret
-
You will need both values inside Aegisify SEO.
Step 3: Verify API Credentials
Go to:
https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials
Confirm that your OAuth credentials are properly created and active.
Step 4: Add Test Users (Required During Testing Phase)

Scroll to Test Users

Click Add Users
-
Add the Google account email you will use for authentication
Final Step: Connect Aegisify SEO to Google
Now return to your WordPress dashboard:
Aegisify SEO → Search Console Tab

Paste your Client ID
-
Paste your Client Secret
-
Enter your Property URL
-
This should match the property created in GSC
-
Most commonly:
yourdomain.com
-

Click Connect Google Account
-
Select your Google account
-
Click Continue
-
Approve access when prompted
If everything is configured correctly, you will be redirected back to Aegisify SEO and data will begin populating automatically.
Where to View Your GSC Intelligence
Once connected, navigate to:
Aegisify SEO → SEO Ops Center
You will now have access to:

Schema Intelligence
-
Search Stats
-
CTR trend analysis
-
Ranking volatility detection
-
Query-level performance insights
