If anonymous human-hit tracking is enabled, Aegisify can compare aggregate AI requests with human page hits. This is an exposure/traffic ratio—not a conversion metric, ranking factor, or proof that content was used in an AI answer.
Keep Discovery and Access Policy Separate
Aegisify uses a simple default model: public content can be discoverable while specific crawler restrictions remain explicit administrator choices.
The AI SEO module documents one open wildcard crawler policy for public content and instructs administrators to add crawler-specific Disallow rules only when they intentionally want to restrict a crawler. The Advanced Intel area checks whether robots.txt is readable and whether Aegisify WAF is available for related allow/block telemetry.
This division matters. Discovery files help systems find public content; robots policy governs standards-compliant crawler access; a WAF can add runtime request controls. None of these guarantees that a third-party AI system will crawl, index, cite, summarize, or rank a page.
